Blasphemy?

Met up with my sec. sch. pal, Alex, yesterday after driving lessons. We headed down to Tampines Mall, hoping to have our dinner at Ponderosa. To our dismay, the restaurant has closed down. Yeah, I realise that it has closed for some time already but it was only then we realised. Well, headed down to Fish & Co instead. We ordered 1 serving of Grilled Calamari to share, n we both had the Swordfish Collar. Oh man~! Our appetite has really decreased. We were actually struggling to finish up our meal~! It was satisfying nonetheless. = P

Afterwhich, we went to watch Constantine. We were really glad we made our reservations online. The crowd was overwhelming~! Well, the show was alright. Cool effects but kindda plain storyline. Found it rather blasphemous though. I mean, the Archangel Gabriel betrayed GOD~!? Negotiating to extend one's life? Travelling between Earth n Hell? Hmmmmmmmmmm...= P Oh well, it's a show nonetheless. Oh yah~! We were told by some friends to wait for the credits to end as there was an extra scene after it all. We waited for what almost seemed like forever, n there it was. It just showed 1 of the characters turning into an angel. Less than 5 minutes. We felt cheated. -_-" Haahaa~!

Then, it was a chase for the last bus. Was walking like damn fast lah. Managed to get onto it. Got home, showered n planned to go to bed. Itchy fingers turned on the TV. Watched WWE. Haahaa~! Yah I know, it is all fake. Still entertaining to me to a certain extent though. = P Anyway, it was a great day for me, except tt I kindda screwed up my circuit practice in the afternoon before my meeting with Alex. >_<

Aloysius to know Aloysius better

I was attending a 2-day Problem Solving Course yesterday n today. Have been through such courses before n had problem solving was actually part of 1 of the modules I took in poly, therefore I could more or less guess what was gonna be taught. However, the trainer was a v. qualified guy with lotsa experience. He was somebody who went thru lotsa shit to get to where he is today. From a Sec. 2 drop-out n an ITE student, he is now a Masters holder in International Marketing. At the same time he's also certified in many areas such as hypnosis, behaviorial studies, counselling, branding etc etc. Quite a feat huh~! Really caught on his spirit tt everything is possible as long as u r focused, willing n determined.

I decided to make a resolution this year, tt is to get to know myself at a greated depth. On the 1st day when he asked me, "Aloysius, physics n math r not a problem to u, but how well do you actually know yourself?". I was kindda stunned n dumb-founded. I mean, if I knew myself THAT well, I wouldve been able to answer tt question without any problem at all. Yup, n knowing oneself well is actually v. important. Knowing urself well will enable u to respond instead of reacting; this is actually something tt I have been trying to put into practice, but it really aint tt easy at times~! So...there you have it~! My first resolution in many many years~! "Aloysius to know Aloysius better". = )

yet another saturday...

Met Jonaphine for dinner at CityLink Thai Express. Well, I think gals are fantastic when it comes to shopping. She got 2 pairs of leather shoes, a skirt n 2 jackets for $200~! Oh well, gals' stuff r cheaper n have a greater variety is great also. Still amazed nonetheless. = P Can get stuff in quantity n yet not compromise in quality. >_-

After walking her to the MRT, met up with Samuel for a drink before watching "White Noise". Tony n Mingwen joined us for the movie. It was really weird tt Mingwen could actually "not hear" me tell him the movie we will be watching when I actually did tell him. When the movie started, he was actually wondering if we were in the correct theatre. He thought we were gonna watch "Seoul Raiders"~! Poor Tony had to sit through the movie. He was not game for movies tt deal with supernatural u see, n if Mingwen did tell him, he wouldnt have agreed on it. Haahaa~! = P Well, the movie's plot aint tt fantastic, but I must say tt it was disturbing to a certain extent. If u wanna watch it, I'll recommend watching it on a weekday when the tix r cheaper. Not worth the weekend rates. = )

Oh yah, guess what I came upon at the petshop at Suntec?

Yup. Didnt expect an Angora Lop to share the same name as me~! = P

And in came Singapore Idol, Taufik Batisah, into my office. It would be his first day here for his new NS vocation. I must say tt he looks better than he did when he was a trainee. Well, money n stardom sure can do wonders to pple. = P Gotta get back to work. Later peeps~! = )

Happy Chinese New Year 2 All~! = D

Hey peeps~! Here's wishing 1 n all a very Happy Chinese New Year~! Wish all of u n ur families abundance of joy, wealth n health. May the year ahead be a fantastic 1~! = )

Well, like any other Chinese New Year's Eve, my family will have a reunion lunch together. My mum will dish out a few of her specialties each year. Woohoo~! N if that isn't enough, we will drop my my granny's place 2 have a reunion steamboat dinner with the entire extended family~! The atmosphere n food is really great~! After the dinner, we will hang around b4 heading home 2 give our house the last clean b4 the Chinese New Year. Yup~!

some updates

Hey peeps, sorry for not updating my bloggie. Been busy at work n feel kindda worn out as well. Felt like my body was gonna give way but tried to put up a fight nonetheless. Eventually, here I am sitting in front of the computer, sick. Tonsils giving me problems again, n this always leads to a bad flu n fever. Sigh. Once again, I'm feeling helpless. God, I wanna get well. Chinese New Year is like just days away. Believe tt U'll bring me through, yeah?

I won't deny tt I'm learning lotsa stuff with the vocation I'm holding for my NS, but it is NS nonetheless. NS in certain ways has made me a better person, n helped me know some great friends. NS also caused me a BIG part of my pre-NS social life. NS delayed my studies. Sigh...NS...............Well, I think I just happened to be "low" at this point of time. I'm just gonna do my best in my posting, hand over well to my junior who's gonna take over me, n carry on with my studies.
