Umizaru

I missed the Japanese Movie "Umizaru" when it was shown in the cinema, but finally managed to get my hands on the long awaited VCD yesterday when I was with Karina (who was still recovering from a bad cough). Been waiting so damn long for it to be released~!

The show was simply fantastic. For starters, I lurve the sea. The human emotions packed into the movie was also unbelievable. Not forgetting the marvellous sound track tt went along with it. I was really touched at how close-knit the team of rescue diver trainees had become, n how they overcame obstacles together n eventually saved 2 of their fellow trainees. Everybody should watch it~! Simply lurve the movie~! = D

You've got mail...

Was greeted by an email from Celine when I woke up on Tuesday morning, but only had time to really reply to it this evening after my driving lessons. Didn't wanna reply for the sake of replying u see. Moreover, there were things tt i really wanted to pen down in the reply as well. Was really touched by the mail, n really glad tt she wrote. Haven't heard from her since she went back to aussie for studies. Really grateful for having her in my life. She's really been a blessing. = )

I shan't go much into the email tt she wrote, but there is this particular tt touched me:

Since my last entry...

I have been really busy at work. Lots of deployments have to be settled. Not to mention the incoming ad-hoc tasks I have to undertake. What makes it more sickening at times is tt some officers can get really uncooperative. Oh well, I'm still performing well in my job although I do get tired out n stressed out at times. *BIG pat on my own back* = P

Managed to catch up with Hsinyao on Saturday for a movie n abit of walking around. He kindda bulked up. Well, he bulked up enough for me to notice a difference. Haahaa~! Went to watch Swing Girls. Oh man, as I was watching the show, I was re-living my days as a percussionist in the Singapore Polytechnic Band. I really enjoyed performing n each successful concert really brought a great sense of satisfaction to me. Preparing for concerts n performances aint easy tasks, but the fruit of the labour is definately really sweet. = )

Yesterday, the 42nd Intake of Officer Cadets were posted to the Police Academy to undergo their 9-month training. Man, r they tall or wat? I mean, they r generally quite tall lah, except for a few. Just came back from a welcome party thrown by the 41st Intake. Such events r always a joy. Really did have a good laugh during the party. Had a good time catching up with some of my juniors from the 40th Intake as well. = )

Hitch...

After quite some time, finally managed to meet up with Huijun, Zhiying, Tingli, Jayce n Pamela yesterday. Really missed them~! Haahaa~! We were supposed to meet at 2pm, but they were late. Anyway, headed for lunch at Sakae Sushi where we ate n hung out before getting the movie tickets for Hitch. Oh man, they are all working n intend to further studies part-time soon. I am still in NS~! Can't wait for my disruption. My last day of work will be 15 July 05. WOOHOO~!!! We went shopping n then settled down for dinner at Cafe Cartel before catching the movie at 9.20pm.

Oh man, the movie was simply hilarious but really sweet at the same time. Really liked the dialogues. = ) There was also great chemistry between all the leads. A romantic comedy which I rate 3.5 out 5.

Saw Daryl on the way home, but couldn't quite confirm if it was him or not as I was rushing for the last train, so didn't really stop to say "hi" or confirm it. Later on, confirmed over SMS tt it indeed was him. He was going for his next round of drinking. Well, hope he didn't drink too much though.

N got a Silver for my final IPPT~! I'm sooooooooooooooooooo happy~! = P Was really worried that I wouldnt even be able to pass. I haven really been keeping up with my fitness u see, n on Monday when I went to have a dry run of all the circuits, I had failed a 3 of the stations. Was really worried but I guess the dry run did my body some good as well. I prayed and fought hard, n eventually got what I had aimed for. Although I just made it for a Silver in some stations, I m really glad nonetheless.
