I was lost...for 20 minutes...

My owner accidentally left me behind in a taxi after he returned to his workplace from lunch. I was traumatised~! Thank God the taxi driver picked me up when my owner called, and immediately sent me back to "reunite" with my owner. It felt terrible to be "owner-less" even if it was just for a brief 20 minutes~! I really lurve my owner. He takes such fantastic care of me~! What would I do without him~!?

------------

Okie, crap aside, really wanna thank God for the taxi driver. He was really honest and kind. He couldve sold my HP off for quite a bit. I would've been devastated should I lost all my contacts~! My colleagues were saying he probably dare not take my HP for his own, owing to the nature of my job. Haahaa~! But heck lah~! What matters is he did a good act, and his good kharma will build up. = P

Thankful

Went to church this morning after some time. It was really great to be "home". Reunited with some old frenz n made some new ones as well. Was really happy to see the Pastors, n to see tt Hope of God Church has come this far. The teaching really ministered to me as well. Loved the praise n worship session also. Just felt so thankful to be there. Can't help but think tt all these happened in God's devine timing. It's like, I could go back later or earlier, but I chose to go back today. The Pastor could preach what he did earlier or later, but he preached it today. It's like, everything just pieced together perfectly - like the service was specially tailor made for me. Haahaa~! Serious~! = P Can't really express in words how the whole experience was for me, but I'm sure some of u reading this would be able to relate. Nonetheless, really thankful to be back and hope to be back for good. Most importantly, thank Papa God. = )

Finally decided to get my hands on it...

Alex went to the Creative Warehouse Sale today. Gave me a call when he was there. Brought up the idea of getting a MP3 player together. Explored the various models available. Alex asked the staff there lotsa questions. I did lotsa reading up n checking up as well. Both of us finally decided...

Alex got the silver 1 though. Phew~! In these 2 days, I spent quite a bit, but at least I settled 2 key things tt I would so-called "need" when I start school in 7 weeks. A bag is quite necessary rite. On top of that, would need music to "company" me during my long journey to school daily. = P

N the American Idol is...

CARRIE UNDERWOOD~! Yeah~! Thank goodness Mr Bo Bice did not win~! Haahaa~! Nonetheless, the album I'm really looking forward to is Vonzell's. She's still my American Idol no (after Kelly Clarkson) no doubt.

Oh~! N I bought myself my very 1st Crumpler Bag~! Of cos, not including the 1 I got for my youngest brother's birthday on 15 April. It is called "The Fux Deluxe". Don't know how they derived that name though, but it's like really damn BIG~! Haahaa~! Now my bro n I can switch bags when the need arises. Previously I got him "The Beer Back", which once again, I don't know how the name came about. Haahaa~! Both are really cool in their own ways, n just as gigantic~! = P

Never thought it would be this tiring...= P

Met up with my sec sch buddies Alex, Lirong n Shawn for 2 hours of badminton yesterday late morning. It has been like eons since I last played badminton. Had a fun n helluva workout~! Haahaa~! We played from 1100hrs to 1300hrs. Afterwhich, we headed for Settler's Cafe (the Clarke Quay 1), where we met up with Lionel. It was really a great deal of fun n excitement~! The games they had were really fantastic. There were those which tested ur reflexes, those which strained ur brain, those which required team work, those which required chemistry etc. It was really really fun~! It was especially great as I needed a break from NS, n the rest needed a break after their exams. We actually planned to stay from 1400hrs to 1800hrs only, but ended up playing all the way until 2045hrs~! Haahaa~! We had our lunch n dinner there as well. Each person spent a total of $24, which all of us really found reasonable. = ) Afterwhich, we headed down to Suntec City to walk around abit before heading for home. Oh man~! The combination of activities today were really power~! We were drained physically n mentally. At the end of the game session, all of us felt really "seh". Haahaa~! All these aside, I must say tt I really can't wait to disrupt n join my mates for studies at Uni, although I heard from many tt studying engineering at NTU sux. = P

Well, was greeted by lotsa emails n a substantial amount of work at office. Well, hope I can clear 'em all fast, n have a smooth-sailing week ahead. Less than 3 days to the weekend~! Woohoo~! = )

Percussion Practice

Went back to SP yesterday to meet up with some of my old section mates from Band. Played some percussion ensembles to decide on what to play for an upcoming concert. Really felt like a reunion although not everybody was present, n was fantastic to be playing the mallets again~! = ) Oh man, I miss playing in the band so much~! Sad thing is tt I may not be able to perform for the concert as it may clash with my work. Sigh. Keeping my fingers crossed for the confirmation of dates at work. = P

Well, on my way home from SP, got my youngest brother to SMS me the American Idol result. Vonzell got booted. Was so damn sad. Americans r deaf~! Haahaa~! >_< Carrie~! U had better win~!

In Christ Alone - Brian Littrell

This song by Backstreet Boy's Brian Littrell really strung chords in my heart. Ministered to me as well. A fantastic song with fantastic vocals. Oh man~! = ) *goosebumps*

In Christ Alone

In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I've been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I'll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to the grace by which I stand

Chorus:
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the Cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honour in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the glory of my Lord

Chorus:
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

*Yawnz*

Was supposed to go Double O last night, but the queue was ridiculously long even before admission was opened. After waiting for some time, n seeing that gathering a long queue outside was part of their marketting strategy, we decided to make our way to Zouk instead. Went with my pals Melvin, Ivan, Dennis, KC, LN n Junkiat. Jonaphine joined us as well. Had a really great time man, although had to play baby-sitter to some towards the back. Was also glad that Jonaphine fitted in well n could get along with the guys. = )

Interesting

Hmmmmmmmm...came across a link from a friend's blog. Quite accurate I must say, considering the length of the survey, n that they only asked about my animal selection in various circumstances. Give it a try! = P

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who have a split personality - cold as ice on the outside but hot as fire in the heart.

In love, you feel the most alive when everything is uncertain, one moment heaven... the next moment hell.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is comforting. You crave a relationship where you always feel warmth and love.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

I'm on MC today...

Cos my tonsils r like acting up again. Had abit of fever as well. Thought it'd be good to stay home n rest rather than go to work n worsen the condition. Nonetheless, there was a great incentive for being on MC today - I could watch the American Idol Result Show "Live"~! My prediction has been right so far. Anthony got voted out. It was a sad thing considering that he has been improving n showing more of himself over the weeks. I was also glad that he was voted out instead of Vonzell. 1 of her Vonzell's performances was quite weak n she wasnt really in form last night n I was really nervous for her. Anthony n Vonzell were in the bottom 2. Between the 2, of cos I would want Vonzell to stay. My youngest brother n I r like die-hard fans of hers already. U go win this competition girl~! = )

I'm Back~!

Hey peeps~! I'm back...relunctantly. Haahaa~! = P Anyway, Thailand was a blast. Went to Bangkok followed by Pattaya. Had a fantastic time with my pals - shopping, eating, go-cart, clubbing. I tried the traditional Thai massage as well, but it was alright only, our chinese "tui na" is much more shiok~! Heehee. The weather was also much hotter than in Singapore. I was literally perspiring the whole day~!

The night-life was kind of an eye-opener as well. Especially at Pattaya. Really sleazy sia~! My hand can get pulled at when I'm walking along the street, n sometimes, I cant even differenciate if it is a she or "she". Haahaa~! But most were damn obvious. Lotsa ang mos at Pattaya as well, but most of them r gays, with Thai boy escorts. The way some of them stared were kindda scary as well. Haahaa.

I so wanna go back to Thailand again. There was not enuf time~! Any of u going must jio me okie? = P

Oh...during my trip, I came to know of the death of Dr Wee Kim Wee over the BBC News. I was damn sad sia. He was a really humble n benevolent man who led by example n showed tt anything is possible for those willing. May u rest in peace with the Lord. *Salutes*
